Saypane vs Windows voice typing (Win+H)
Every Windows 10 and 11 PC has voice typing built in: press Win+H and talk. For many people it is all they need. This page explains its limits and where an offline app like Saypane helps. Facts about voice typing come from Microsoft's own help page.

It needs the internet
Voice typing sends your speech to Microsoft's online speech service. Without a connection, or when a company policy turns off online speech, it stops. Users have also reported periods when it failed for everyone on Windows 10. Saypane recognizes speech on your PC, so none of that affects it. Fixes for Win+H.
What voice typing does better
- It is already there and costs nothing.
- Fluid dictation on Copilot+ PCs cleans up grammar and filler words in English.
Which one to choose
- Use Win+H if you are always online and it recognizes you well.
- Use Saypane if you need dictation offline or on locked-down PCs, do not want your voice sent to an online service, need names in a custom vocabulary, or also transcribe recordings.
